The Blooming St. Paul Awards is a collaborative initiative between St. Paul Parks and Recreation, the St. Paul Garden Club, and the Ramsey County Master Gardeners. The program is presented by the St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Capitol Region Watershed District. The Blooming St. Paul Awards help showcase residents and businesses who are dedicated to beautifying their local communities. A yearly award ceremony is put on to recognize honorees.
Nominations are underway for the 2017 Blooming Saint Paul Awards. Go to www.stpaul.gov and search “Blooming St. Paul Awards” to nominate a garden online.
– All gardens, trees and art must be within St. Paul city limits.
– All nominations on private property must be visible from the sidewalk, street or alley.
– Alley gardens must have address clearly visible from alley.
– Gardens maintained by the city parks department are not eligible.
You can nominate any garden, tree or public art piece, located within city limits can be nominated for an award in five different categories. Each category recognizes the top three nominations with Golden Bloom, Silver Bloom, and Bronze Bloom awards. The deadline to nominate a garden for 2017 is Friday, June 23.
