Construction is underway for the long-awaited pavilion and restrooms at Pickerel Lake. This feature will be absolutely breathtaking and will finally provide a destination picnicking spot in the park at Pickerel Lake. Design of the off-leash dog park is underway, and construction of the picnic shelter is anticipated to be completed by end of the year. This will complete the items identified in the Master Plan for Lilydale Regional Park. A future boardwalk connecting the shelter to the brickyard trail is the last remaining item to complete in the Master Plan.
The improvements to the Park over the past 10 years have transformed a good park into a great park and will provide benefits to Saint Paul and surrounding communities for years to come. Stay tuned for more to come!
