Come see the American debut of Cathedral Illuminated: The Manger from the warmth and safety of your car.

When: Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 17-19, 2020

(the 12-minute show runs on a continuous loop from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. each night)

This will be a “drive-along” event in front of the Cathedral of Saint Paul. Officers from the Saint Paul Police Department will direct traffic one-way heading north along Summit Ave. and allow vehicles to stop temporarily in front of the Cathedral Hill Park to watch the show.

Our recommendations.

From the North, West or East:  Take the Dale Ave. exit off of I-94, and follow signs to Summit Avenue and the Cathedral.

From the South:  Take I-35 E North and exit at the Grand Av/Ramsey Hill exit, follow signs to the Cathedral.

The Saint Paul Parks Conservancy is delighted to partner with the Cathedral Heritage Foundation for this joyous free holiday event that highlights a creative way to use public space. The show’s creator, Luxmuralis is an award-winning projection art company based in Lichfield, England with illumination by artist Peter Walker and music by David Harper. Their shows regularly draw crowds of 20,000 throughout the UK and Europe. This will be their first project in the U.S.

The Saint Paul presentation will run concurrently with the Lichfield Cathedral in England, building a bridge of unity.  Please join us in sharing an experience of Joy and Peace as a challenging year draws to a close.
