Volunteer to plant trees in North Dale Recreation Center!
We are looking for small groups to help replace ash trees that were infested with the emerald ash borer at the center between 9 – Noon on Saturday, May 22. Three 60-minute planting times are available This event is hosted in partnership with the University of Minnesota: Department of Forest Resources.
Due to current COVID-19 Policies this event is open to small groups of 2-4 people (talk about a perfect family day of service!). When registering please note how many people are in your group. We are accepting 4 groups per time slot and kids are welcome!
A short tree planting instructional video will be sent out to registered volunteers prior to the event. A planting assistant will help guide each small group planting the day of and answer any tree-related questions. We will supply all the necessary planting tools.
