Mayor Melvin Carter proclaimed July 28, 2021 as the first “Parks and Recreation Day in the City of Saint Paul”
There’s nothing like having the day of the Conservancy’s first Party for the Parks declared a special day in Saint Paul! Mayoral Proclamation July 28 2021 recognized the park volunteers honored at the event: Volunteer of the Year Debby Smith; Parks Booster of the Year the Saint Paul Garden Club; Golden Shovel Award Honoree Priscilla Brewster; and Changemaker Khalique Rogers.
Of course, if you love parks as much as we do, every day is Parks and Recreation Day in the City of Saint Paul!
