Thank you Parks Partygoers!

Thanks to everyone who attended Party for the Parks on July 28 – the HOTTEST event in town (whew!)

Nearly 200 gathered to celebrate Saint Paul’s award-winning park system and toast the volunteers who make it shine on July 28 at Harriet Island’s Wigington Pavilion.

Thank you to the many individual donors who helped match the challenge offered by sponsors and partners 21st Century Bank, Ecolab, and MNUFC, raising $20,000 to improve our parks. Thanks to event partners St Paul Downtown Alliance and Saint Paul Parks and Recreation. The young ones enjoyed activities like spin art, ladder ball and posing with MNUFC mascot PK. The lavish chef picnics by Russell Klein of Meritage and Brian Ingram of The Gnome and Hope Breakfast Bar sold out well before the event. Smokin’ Bonez food truck also created many happy tummies.

A very special thanks to our host committee: Lynne Beck, John Bennett, Inez Bergquist, Dana Bruce, Brandon Collins and Anne Hunter and to Kate Frye, who manages the Harriet and Raspberry Island venues with such skill and style!

Put June 22 from 5-7 on your 2022 calendar for the next Part for the Parks!
