The Trust for Public Land joins us in convening leaders from volunteer “Friends of Parks” groups for peer learning.

If you are involved starting or leading a “Friends Of” Park volunteer group, please join us for a Fall “Friends Forum from 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct 20 at the Frogtown Community Center* at 230 Como Avenue, Saint Paul.

This is a chance to network with other park booster club/volunteer group leaders to share successes, challenges and goals.

It is also a chance to say a huge THANK YOU from the City and the nonprofit sector for the work you do every day to make our parks great.

The Trust for Public Land (TPL) will highlight the results of their work with District Councils around green space, including the need for greater stewardship of our parks.

Staff from TPL and the Conservancy will share resources around organization administration, working with fiscal agents, fundraising and marketing. We will also gather your needs for online tools and future programs to strengthen the work you all do across the city for our parks.

Register today so we order enough food and materials!

*Please note that at this writing, masks are required in City buildings regardless of vaccination status.
