Dana Bruce joined the board in 2021 representing Ward 3 (Highland/Mac Groveland). Last year she served on the Party for the Parks host committee and created our “Many Hats Award” to recognize volunteer leaders who are involved with and network multiple organizations that make our community vibrant. “I grew up in St. Paul’s West-End neighborhood and spent countless hours at Riverside and Palace Recreation Center. Our three children benefited greatly from all the activities at Groveland and Hillcrest Recreation Center. Our son, Patrick, worked at Groveland and transformed the warming house into a summer teen area.”

Dana and husband Doug enjoy walks through Harriet Island Park and over the bridge to their “urban cabin” – City House at Upper Landing Park.

Dana is a dynamic realtor with Remax Advantage Plus who loves helping people write the next chapter in their lives by finding the right new setting. Dana was St. Paul Rotary’s Membership Director, creating a net membership increase of 10% during the pandemic in addition to creating new membership systems and marketing.

Dana also makes a difference on the Friends of the St Paul Public Library. She chaired the Opus and Olives committee for 3 years and then chaired the Governance Committee. Currently, she is chair of the Individual Engagement/Giving Committee.

The Conservancy is actively looking for dynamic board members to represent Ward 1 (Thomas-Dale, Frogtown, Summit-U), Ward 5 (North End, Como) and Ward 6 (Payne-Phalen, Greater East Side). Contact us if you would like to learn more!
