Inez Bergquist was an early Conservancy board member, joining in 2010.

It is wonderful to have her back starting in 2021 after serving on the Party for the Parks host committee. Inez is a nonprofit consultant whose fundraising acumen and love of the arts has made an impact across the city.

Inez is President of the Wells Foundation, and recently retired as board President of the Friends of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

She has been a representative for the Episcopal Church in Minnesota on the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches board, president of the University of Minnesota Library Friends, Senior Warden and Planned Giving Chair of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, and volunteer with several other nonprofits.

Inez is establishing the Conservancy’s first true board-led fundraising committee in order to increase individual philanthropy for our parks.

The Conservancy is actively looking for dynamic board members to represent Ward 1 (Thomas-Dale, Frogtown, Summit-U), Ward 5 (North End, Como) and Ward 6 (Payne-Phalen, Greater East Side). Contact us if you would like to learn more!
