Wise words from Saint Paul Parks and Recreation for #wellnesdwednesdayYou know the saying “we can do hard things?” While that’s true, you can also give yourself a break sometimes. It’s cold outside. Don’t go out there if you don’t want to. While we know bundling up and getting fresh air is important, this isn’t a competition or survival of the fittest. This week, do something your heart wants. Be gentle on yourself. Give yourself grace. Take a break with a warm beverage. You’ve survived all the days leading up to today, and we think that’s worth celebrating.

🖼️: A half drank cup of chai in a mug that says “survivor” on it. It’s being held by a brown hand wearing a well worn light gray sweatshirt purchased at a thrift store in 2002.
